Debbie Waldron-Hoines as Consultant CEO of FIAUK organises & manages events, practices financial governance, oversees marketing plans, manages membership and partnerships, takes part in lobbying, training & education and general projects.


FIAUK Ltd (The European Flexographic Industry Association) is the UK trade association for the flexographic industry and provides a range of services for its members, supporting the entire flexographic packaging supply chain from designer to printer to retailer to waste and recycling.

FIAUK supports and promotes the industry through various mechanisms including networking events, promotion of the flexo process, technical advice, education and training, health and safety support, human resource information and industry lobbying.

Treasurer

Debbie Waldron-Hones is a one of the founders of FTA Europe, Treasurer of the Board and instrumental in creating the Biennial Diamond Awards.

FTA Europe is the association representing the common interests of the European Flexographic printing industry. The members are Europe’s national associations. Flexo is the single largest printing process for packaging in Europe and the fastest growing sector.

Vice Chair

Debbie Waldron-Hoines is Vice Chair of GPMA.

The GPMA consists of trade associations representing companies operating in the graphics and print media supply chain. Between them, the trade associations represent some 3,471 companies in the UK with an annual turnover of £15 billion and employ 106,000 people. The objective of the GPMA is to represent the interests of companies operating in the printing industry supply chain by providing a forum for discussion to formulate agreed positions, share experience and knowledge, streamline and co-ordinate advocacy activities and liaising with other industry associations and organisations.

The Stationers’ Company is the City of London Livery Company for the Communications and Content Industries. It is a livery company with a strong reputation, striving to be the most effective independent business and social forum for the communication and content industries, actively contributing to the strategic development, success and education of these industries. The majority of the members work in, or supply, the paper, print, publishing, packaging, office products, newspaper, broadcasting and online media industries.

Debbie Waldron-Hoines was one of the key contributors to the Future of Packaging Collaborative Group. Debbie scrutinised flexographic print with the circular economy lens and created a cross-sector collaboration to address one of its challenges. She investigated and has taken forward a project on alternative routes for recycling printing plates.
